    Welcome to the weekend!
    Here's another of my favorite lighter sort of lager, a Rice Lager from Icicle Brewing in Washington State.

    It's interesting the differences that brewers get with these Rice Lagers. In this case the hops are just a whisper, but add a pleasant fruity note. Not strong, and not bitter, but all nicely balanced with the delicate rice flavor and aroma. Clean and crisp with a light body and plenty of spritz on the tongue. Overall this is another excellent lighter style of Lager, but flavorful and satisfying to drink. It's a single-hop brew featuring a hop called Akoya.

    Abashiri - Premium

    I'm in a very remote area, which once upon a time served as a prison colony for Japan's criminals. The area is known for its harsh winter weather, ice ocean flows, and overall isolation. You can literally see Russia from around here. Not that I want to.

    My son and I are cruising at 33k feet enjoying Bell’s Two Hearted Ale. had to rebook flight from Chicago to Lexington due to 2-3 hour reroute because of ash from volcano in Russia. New arrival time back in Lexington, 11:50 pm ‍♂️
