Did RU-55 go out to distributors? Any idea when it might hit the shelves?

According to the article Jeff posted on-site accounts in Austin will be receiving it Friday. The rest of Texas will get it in a couple of weeks.

Come on by WFM Kirby. I've got some in the back, along with plenty of Uberkind that FINALLY showed up.

I went by about a week ago around 7 in search of a bottle of Funk Metal, I asked three different people, two said they didn't have any, one had no idea what i was talking about.

Virtuoso didn't pickup last week. They're now scheduled to pick RU-55 up from us tomorrow (Tuesday).

Sorry about that. If I'm not here there's a good chance no one who is working will know what you're talking about. I still have about a case of Funk Metal and several cases of Uberkind.

Apparently there's a whole lot of Uberkind hitting shelves. I saw tons of it @ Spec's Smith in Houston last week.

There's a stack of it at CM in Austin that's been there for weeks. For some reason it's moving waaay slower than Funk Metal.

Probably what jbeez said and people may think it is a new version of Das Wunderkind if they don't look it up.

We're still spoiled when you think about good sours from other states. Most sours run closer to $20 for a large format bottle and 13-15 for smaller bottles. I do feel that you get more bang for your buck with boxers though. Slightly lower pricepoint and more abv, so I'm a bit partial to boxers. Really hoping the carbonation is coming along nicely with the 3rd batch that's coming.

I drank my second to last bottle of Beer Geek this weekend, its still drinking very well. I still get chipotle peppers and a lot of coffee so no worries on those fading. I probably wont drink my last bottle for another 18-24 months.
