I have had my share of DB Vienna Lager both at home, in restaurants, and at the brewery. It is usually my go-to beer with clams and oysters. I need to get some more before my next seafood feast.

Hey beer peeps.....picked up this cool vintage (1980's ??) New Amsterdam glass mug at the thrift store this morning - very cool! The beer is pretty nice as well!

Are you planning on hitting Goldfinger in Downers Grove (relatively close to Oak Brook)? IMO one of the best lager breweries in this area. They don’t have a food menu, but it looks like a tamale truck will be on site at 5p. Could be worth a stop at least for a snack!
