Tapped my Oktoberfest for this year. Really happy with it, it compared very well in a blind (our first time trying it after tapping) against Paulaner and Bells, two of our higher rated Marzen this year.

Mine has a touch more of a malty rich character, so probably more comparable to Ayinger, which we will put it head to head to later today.

Chuggy - Meyer Lemon from Fairweather Brewing

Probably the best tasting Low Alcohol beer I have ever had. The bar is pretty low though.

Reviewed in the NBW thread.

 

8.6 Blond from 'Bavaria' (Royal Swinkels Family Brewers). Sounds German, but is Dutch.
Nothing special, but a nice price at €1,42 (I guess that would be around the same in US$).

Have mostly stuck with the best European Festbiers during the upcoming season. SN collaborations have been the exception, but this one a disappointment for me.
