I took advantage of of the beautiful weather here today and harvested a peck of quahogs out of the North Bay in Osterville. I made sure I left some for @vabeerguy

I took a bunch of the small ones and cooked them with some pasta for dinner. Cheers!

This one goes out to Mrs G who managed to lock herself out of the house while I was clamming

 

6th Lord. An IPA brewed by Basic City. Soaking some clams for about ten minutes. Afterward they will meet their demise.

I remember the good old days when I cared if other Big Ten teams besides Wisconsin won. Wisconsin just had to do better than Iowa and Minnesota to get to the the Big Ten title game, before being blown out. Now with the BIGPAC10, and every team having different players every year, it is all NFL in Wisconsin. Fortunately, the Green Bay Packers have all these Penn State linemen!

Trying this 4 Hands Paloma. It’s a blonde ale with grapefruit, lime, and salt. It’s inspired by the cocktail. Pretty tasty on a hot day, too.
