Dr. Pat's face looks familiar, like he was probably featured in one or more episodes of the TV series that DogfishHead had a number of years ago. RIP Dr. Pat.

Saw him present at NHC/Homebrewcon years ago, a fascinating person who was a pleasure to chat with afterwards.
Pretty sure he was in the Brewdog's TV Episode in Durango CO. Where they brewed with Ska brewing. They went to Mesa Verde with Dr. Pat. (if my memory is correct). RIP Dr. Pat.
Over the years I have had the pleasure of exchanging numerous emails with Pat on various beer topics. He was a very knowledgeable guy and generous in sharing his thoughts. A true gentleman. I will miss him. Cheers!
I feel privileged to have seen a talk he gave on ancient ales I think in 2013 during Philly Beer Week. I was obsessed with those beers from Dogfish Head.
