What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4703

Was excited to find a bottle of Founders Imperial Stout at the bottle shop last night. The nose was promising, the pour was not. this is barely drinkable-pretty sure its at the end of it's useful life. If anyone wants to take a crack at deciphering the bottling date, I'm all ears. Cheers!

 

My roomie brought home a new beer from Everett's own Scuttlebutt Brewing and it's named for the Mariners All-Star catcher.

Joining the "heady in a glass" team tonight. You bought it, drink it how the "F" you like it. Just read up on David Goggins' running the Bigfoot 200, a 200-mile race through Washington's Cascade Mountains with substantial elevation gain. He finished the event in 66 hours, 4 minutes, and 17 seconds, placing 23rd overall. This achievement was particularly notable given Goggins' age of 50. I've biked 100-150 miles a day a bunch of times, but what does your brain say at mile 10 or so of 200 to run?????? I'd really like to see his fueling profile, the top bike racers are intaking 140-190 grams of carbs an hour....

 

Anyone ever hear of a beer being mislabeled? By that I mean the wrong beer or liquid being put in a can.

Pictured here was supposed to be a Hazy IPA by Singlecut Brewing. This was supposed to be Big in Japan DDH IPA, however this is what poured out of the can. I searched up the beer and the posts on Untapped show an actual Hazy, not a red, Koolaid liquid.

Thoughts?
