Just finished another 7 mile walk and unfortunately got to village a little early and none of the pubs are open. Luckily the tea room has a beer available!

Made with no fewer than 9 Kentish hops!

 

On to The Fox Inn now in Corfe.

Next up is Bitter Melissa by Buttcombe Brewery.

 

Might as well start off with this one. I may go stronger once I'm done with my laundry.I had this at work, so it isn't NBW worthy.

This beer has a light hazy look to it and has a lemon color to it. The head is 2 finger and white. The head is very fluffy looking and long lasting with good lacing on the glass.
The aroma does some hops to it. I am getting a huge wort hit to my nose. There's some lemon notes hitting my nose.
Taste - There is some hops in this beer. The hops lean toward citrus. Lots of lemon. There's hints of wort, but, thankfully, not as strong as the nose let on.
The body is light, but decent. The beer does feel refreshing.
I've had better NA IPAs, but this one isn't bad at all.

Blood Reign from Erie Brewing. 16 fl oz can picked up at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 28/08/25 - $ 3.50 (including tax)/$ 0.219/fl oz. Reviewed 10/09/25, review 3583.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label artist. Too bad they decided to use the orange mesocarp rather than the juicy segments to flavor this – another near miss from Erie. At least the ethanol is well-hidden.

From a12oz can. I am guessing it was made on the 210th day of 2025 based on the bottom.

This beer looks pink while pouring it into the glass. In the glass it has more of an amber color. There's a nice steady stream of carbonation bubbles that slowly rise in the glass. There's a 2 finger off white colored head that has a pink hue to it. The head retention is decent, and there's some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is just fully influenced by the huckleberries. There's just a faint hint of grain in the aroma. There's a nice hint of grain that shows up right away. It has a honey like sweetness to it. The huckleberries do kick in after and they are quite strong and pleasing. I can tell that it is a real flavor and not artificial. It is a pleasing flavor to my throat.
The beer feels quite refreshing. It has a nice feeling to it from the huckleberries. Smooth feeling and nice depth.
Overall, this is a tasty and refreshing beer. Glad I bought it.

Right along here ba. Grabbed the Harpoon fall party pack as it was decently dated.

Starting w/ the o-fest/marzen. Nice and dry, and not overly sweet. Notes of malt, toasted oats, and brown sugar. Nothing great but it’s not bad at all,

A very good DIPA. I’d buy again. For a cloudy rainy forecast, the sun is currently cutting through the haze, so we’re soaking up some vitamin D while we can. Cheers y’all from Sarasota FL!
