Wandered over to a great bar I like...named after probably the best book ever written...what am I talking about...well Under The Volcano of course. One of my favorite bars in town, and favorite book ha.

A couple of Paulaner Hefe's which are always super fresh, and their bratwurst plate, which is way better than a diver bar, named after novel that is a drunken fever dream...should be

As I have commented to you in the past, you are fortunate that Tonewood beers are economically priced for you.

My local Retail Beer Distributor has a number of Tonewood brands available but unfortunately for me those beers are quite pricey.

I could not beat the pajama crowd today at Walmart. That’s okay though. Friday Night Smackdown tonight and some Revolution Anti-Hero IPAs. I think this is my all time favorite beer. Either this or the Tangled Roots Devil’s Paintbox IPA.

Drekker Slang Du Jour Strawberry/Rhubarb Cobbler Sour à la Mode, 6.6%. I rated this 3.9 in 2021. I might be inclined to raise this a bit. This is less tart than last time. This was an unintentional buy, didn't think I'd had it before. Guess I searched on the wrong one.

 

In Chicago for work over the weekend, Zthisnis Hopewell Brewing Oktoberfest, a marzen that actually drinks more like a festbier, but is still really delicious.
