G'day all!

I'm starting early with this Pale Lager from Guatemala. I didn't find this on the shelf. It was in the beer cave. Best by April 2026. Good solid Lager, imho.

Today's New Breakfast Beer is the last of a four-pack:



Dino Breaks from Toppling Goliath. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans picked up at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 28/08/25 - $ 16.00 (including tax)/$ 0.25/fl oz. Reviewed 17/09/25, review 3589.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Uncredited artist. Very good take on the WCIPA style, although a bit sweet. Well disguised ethanol. I would have enjoyed the Simcoe hops producing a bit more piney goodness, but still a brew I’d buy again.

Happy Wednesday ba. Lazy day off, as usual, w/ just a few errand to run. So up and at it here,

Top of the broc, ddh ipa (citra + incognito, cashmere, strata), other half. Light and rather forward w/ citrus fruit notes. Decent but nothing that great either,

 

Good afternoon BAs! At Jameson Distillery drinking Howling Gale PA, and shots of Stout Cask Edition in the bar:



The PA was excellent mild bitter grapefruit rind. The whiskey was smooth and better, imo, than regular Jameson. Cheers and have a great day y’all!

Right along here ba. Continuing my pumpkin ale revisit. Still mostly on locals.

Leaf pile pie, imperial/pastry pumpkin ale, Greenport harbor / Root + branch collabo. Heavy spice forward w/notes of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and allspice. Clean and crisp feel- so I have no idea where they get the pastry claim from?

Not dated cause Greenport harbor has gone down hill,

Finishing this harpoon fall party pack off ba. Still have a few singles.

Day drifter, nitro ipa. The nitro seems to be kind of a joke. Just a bland, malted, and citrus mess of a beer. Harpoon should be ashamed at themselves on this one,

The best beer so far I’ve had in Ireland. Grapefruit and pineapple nose/taste. Mild bitterness. Firm malt base. An excellent DIPA!
