That was kinda the point though - they went through the effort of maintaining two brands, one of which was strictly BA beer (up until Coconut Vibes b3?). It had a feel of 'luxury' vs. more mainstream options. Now you look at the menu and wax / wrapper don't even denote BA vs. non-BA.

Maybe this is personal since my long standing appreciation and admiration could be summed up with how I used to describe SP to non-beer people - "Oh STL, gotta go to Side Project - everything they do touches barrels and it's all amazing." Now only part of that descriptor is relevant.

I don't say it lightly, but The Blend is an all-time SP stout. If you are on the fence about ordering another package, do it ASAP.

If offered VWBBT and The Blend, I'd probably drink The Blend right now.

Really wanna see if we get that 12th Anni BW (and how much it's gonna cost me) before splurging on a third bottle of the blend

Last bottle. One of the best SP saisons ever. Making room for vintage 2023 while simultaneously drowning my sorrows from the shellacking the Lions put on the Bears today. Cheers!!

I cracked a 2024 Rye BBT last night and damn that thing was good. It was extremely easy to drink somehow. It was thick but not too thick and the flavors were so well integrated.

I had 2023 and 2024 Rye back to back about 2 weeks ago when I was out west. Both excellent - enjoyed 2023 a little more.

Me and a buddy are driving out for the anniversary next weekend, hoping to split some bottles with some of you guys

Bought a set per your recommendation. Me and a friend will be there for the anny next weekend if anyone wants to share some beers!

Man, LC parties the weekend I was already going out to pick up bottles - hot damn. I'll take a little bit of luck for a change.

It’s interesting to me that this new Fermier Vintage and the latest Oude Fermier are foedre beers now instead of being wine BA.

And at an event space down the street, so there might actually be room to breathe.

Since they can’t sell beer there (as far as I know) I wonder how this is going to go this year

I've never gone before - only been in LC two years, and I couldn't make it in January (accountant / year end - flat out wasn't possible for me).

Looking forward to maybe meeting some of you fuckos.

    I didn't think I smelled that bad.

Unfortunately, no party for me this year.

I definitely agree with this. Sheer lucky I had already booked a flight that weekend to go out.

How early would one need to be there Saturday to secure a to-go bottle? Any idea on cost?
