    Happy hump day advocates!

Brooklyn Lager right now. Paris Match is a famous magazine in France that naturally has an extended article about Robert Redford this week:

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for opening the bar!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Samuel Adams Harvest Helles from Boston Beer Company. Fall Legends 12-pack of mixed 12 fl oz cans picked up at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 20/09/25 - $ 22.00 (including tax)/$ 0.153/fl oz. Reviewed 24/09/25, review 3595.
Style: Follows the style guidelines as condensed by BA, except for flavor. The chive aroma would be the mentioned sulfur compounds
Final impression and summation: 3.5 Uncredited art work. Basically, flavorless with an odd smell. Overpriced.
Rating 3.26, rDev 0% (First review)

I don't buy SA stuff - generally speaking, it's OK but underwhelming and only available locally in 12/24 packs. However, this 12-pack had Oktoberfest and Jack-O, both of which I haven't had in years, as well as two new (to me) brews. IMHO, the Flannel Fest was the best of the lot (4), the Harvest Helles (3.26) the worst, and the Oktoberfest and Jack-O dragging down the middle.

Hey gang. Beer time! Plenty to do today around here with the primary task being beering myself.
Exxxxxcellent. And here's a slice of life...
So, Sat eve this couple comes to our house for some grilling and drinks. My wife, her work mate, and her hubby drink wine. Guy lays into the beers I'm drinking. By that I mean badmouthing them. Schell's, Hamm's, Bud. So I have one for every comment he made. I had 4  But what a dinkweed. Just as thick as a plank. At least he complimented me on my food and grilling action. After he'd had a few glasses of vino, I pulled out some heavy hittin' beers that I know this guy has never seen nor had, and will never see again. He shut up. Interestingly he's in with liquor retailers and MN distro folks and knows them by name. They're all his customers and developed a kind of point-earning retail inventory system...something like that. A well of info in that dept but needs to be taught some basic beer etiquette. For starters the sheep dip could bring over a couple beers next time over. I'll rattle him for some beer. Hilarious. :nerd: Rant end.
Velkopopovický Kozel Ležák canned July 15th. Nice.
    Cheers!!

Happy rainy and cloudy Wednesday BAs

After such a long spell of dry warm sunny weather - kinda digging this early fall weather - making some tater soup for my mom's lunch, and joining @SawDog505 in a local RIS coffee stout - quite a tasty one, and made 5 miles away from me! Win!
