    Good day all!

Westmalle Tripel this near midday for me.

You left out the question mark in the title Les so I edited the thread. Common error, but to type out the title correctly allows the new thread to show up at The Bar here at BA.

    Cheers.

The image posting schtuffins wasn't working for me yesterday until I got back across town. Here's a touch of Waldmann Brewing which was my cubicle from 11am to about 4. Incredible tasting beers. It was Festbier and Dunkel for me. What they produce is excellence and purity in beer. :beers::beers: Small and quite remarkable.
Another Schell's for me now. Drumming Oct 4 with KJV. Woot! Cheers!

Just finished an 8 mile walk to a pub I've wanted to visit for a long time. The Bell in Aldworth. Stunning 15th Century pub that's had a few additions over the years.

Pint of 5 Giant's bitter by Aldworth Brewing Co who are based next to the pub.

    G'day all!

I'm sipping on this very tasty Imperial Stout out of North Haven Connecticut. Plenty of coffee flavour.

    Prost!

    Good Saturday BA's! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for #4726.

@brewme @celtsfan33 Regarding your question from yesterday, the latest drop was around 2 weeks ago. I live in the Boston area. Heady/Focal show up occasionally at Star Market Chestnut Hill and Wegmans nearby, where I shop every week. They were usually gone pretty quickly so it was just a matter of luck. I only saw Focal this time and my guess is Heady was already out.

Going out soon but I need some hydration with a Notch The Mule, American Corn Lager, brewed with corn from Massachusetts.

Good day BAs! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for opening the bar. The sun is threatening to come out from behind the rain clouds today, but I'll believe it when it happens - it's rained every day this week, most days all day long.

    Today's New Breakfast beer:

Chai Marty from Prairie Artisan. 16 fl oz bottle picked up at Siciliano’s, Grand Rapids, MI, 23/08/25 - $ 16.20 (including tax and deposit)/$ 1.35/fl oz. Reviewed 27/09/25, review 3598.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Uncredited art work. Although the implication of the name “Chai Marty” along with the label showing a martini glass suggests a martini-flavored drink, this lacks any piney/ginny flavors. However, the chai works well in place of vermouth. Bourbon barrels help many a mediocre beer achieve a higher plane. An unusual brew from Prairie Artisan that (unusually) justifies the price point.
    Rating 4.21, rDev – 0.9%

@beerdedking - The answer to your question is "Rarely!" Labels can be drawn by individual artists, AI, committees, and, apparently, kindergarteners, but for the artist who is trying to break into the field, I think this little nod of recognition on a beer label is important. So, yeah, I'll continue to add this comment to my reviews in the vain hope that things will change.

Thanks for the open and love your Friday outing shots and recap @LesDewitt4beer . Need to return to longer walks I did regularly before the lockdowns @Dethark , need to return to at least regular 4-5 mile walks.

Think I found a house American Brown Ale for this time of year.

Full review linked above, full New Beer Weekend #271 treatment linked here. This is a near perfect, perhaps perfect brown ale. Hops, malt, several wonderful flavors of caramel, bread, pine and citrus. Everything I want in an American Brown Ale.

Have a great beer day everyone!

Undated can, but no hop burn, and more bitter, without onion, than fruity, so that's good.
