Suffolk Bitter at the train station.
I assume this is the cheap convenience store quality beers.
They got some cheap helles and ambers, too that ima go back in to buy while i wait for a train to Brussels. I'm right outside the M&S

 

Can't post photo cuz internet is tripping on Eurostar, but i slammed a Nitro Stout from Siren brewing just now as we crossed into France from UK
The family of 3 at my table is with a toddler and he was lookin at me like he wanted a sip

Today's New Breakfast Beer is semi-local:



Heckin’ Dethly from Lavery brewing. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans picked up at Peach Street Beer 4 Less, Erie, PA, 16/09/25 - $ 11.12 (including tax)/$ 0.173/fl oz. Reviewed 08/10/25, review 3606.
Final impression and summation: 3.5 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated can) Uncredited art work. While it does resemble a dunkel-ized version of a Franconian Landbier, it seems over carbonated and a bit bitter for the “style”. Still, by the last quarter of the can, I was quite enjoying it.

I've got today off, so might as well have a beer.

 

Out here in McGregor, it's a beautiful autumn day. The summer heat is gone, but there's more than enough left to titillate and inspire. Both cats were more than happy to discover my three new beers of the day: First, with Gracie, it's my fifth of Molson Coors Canada's brews (from Toronto, Ontario)--their 5% Old Style Pilsner...

Second, this time with Sundae, it's my tenth beer from Burlington, Ontario's Nickel Brook Brewing Co.--their 6.5% Wicked Awesome New England-Style IPA....

Finally for today, it's my fifth experience from Munich Germany's Paulaner Brauerei--the 6% 2025 vintage of their Oktoberfest Bier (shown, poured, with an article on the fascinating film from 1942, Cat People...



...and, from two days ago, a picture of Gracie, one of my lady Pamela's two cats, and why any film by the name of Cat People is ridiculously appropriate...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers to investigate, from the following breweries:
--Moosehead Breweries Limited (Saint John, New Brunswick; my fourth of their wares);
--Orleans Brewing Company (Ottawa, Ontario; my fourth); and
--Perth Brewery (Perth, Ontario; my third)...

Will be taking my daughter and SIL to the CLE airport later this afternoon - a delayed honeymoon trip to Ireland - starting with Dublin and then moving up the west coast - they are renting a car, and my daughter is fearless with driving!! Hope they will have a wonderful trip to the Emerald Isle!
