Wonder if Derivation 21 will be in a 750ml? I love when Derivation is in a 750ml.

 

Shin Shin was public in the sense that I graciously left about half of the kegs to everyone else while I consumed the rest.

I'm a late scratch for St. Louis. My father has been in the hospital for the last week, and things are still a little up in the air, and I'm def needed here now. Gonna miss the chance to meet some of you at the party on Friday, but hope you all have a blast.

The real kick in the nuts was being selected for the Silent Barrel #5 LOL. Because fucking of COURSE that would happen when I couldn't go. Was glad my proxy was able to use the spot though, as he's been awesome. Hope you all have a great time this weekend.

Was a little surprised there was no D21 drop for LC yesterday.

 

Seems like it will happen after the parties per the email: "We WILL be selling this to the rest of our members soon, so do not worry about missing out on Derivation Blend #21 if you cannot make it to a member party."

I remember drizzling D9 over pancakes at the brewery. That's a core craft beer memory for me. D9 was my first and probably still my favorite all time derivation. I'm getting as many bottles of this as I can

 

Did any additional info get shared on beers at the parties this weekend? I saw some listed for the virtual tasting Saturday.

 

Quite the memory for me too. D9 poured over pancakes. First time trying Oude Fermier (Blend 2 I believe). Awesome weekend.

 

I'll need to stock up on that...I labeled it "favorite of the day" on Untapped when I was there in person two years ago for stout week. Two of my favorite adjuncts!

 

I wasn't into Side Project when D9 came out, but one of my favorite memories was seeing an Instagram message pop up that The Cellar was going to have bottles available that day. It was a random day during the middle of the week and so I finished up work and rushed over. A few days later everything was shut down for COVID. I'm excited to try the remake and have it fresh this time.
