Haven’t seen this one round here for a very long time. Despite the name it’s not too sweet even for my sweet averse preferences.

Kellerweis from Sierra Nevada. Six-pack of 12 fl oz cans purchased from Sierra Nevada on-line, Chico, CA, ordered 04/10/25 received 13/10/25 - $14.00 (Free shipping!)/$ 0.194/fl oz. Reviewed 15/10/25, review 3612.
Final impression and summation: 4 Uncredited art work. Not detecting any banana but otherwise an excellent example of a German hefeweizen, very typical of the style.

Today is cooler and overcast, out here in McGregor, but it's still a beautiful autumn day to enjoy and get the most out of. Both Gracie and Sundae were curious about the three new beers, so first, it was my eighth brew from Markham, Ontario's Rouge River Brewing Company--their 6.8% Holy Trinity Hazy IPA. It's poured, with an article on the excellent 70's film, One Flew Over the ****oo's Nest, for no other reason than it's a great film...



Next, it's my third of Guelph, Ontario's Sleeman Breweries Ltd.'s handiworks--their 4% Clear 2.0 Lime (a 3.5/5, or 70%, in my books)...

Finally, it's my third beer from Toronto, Ontario's Something in the Water Brewing Co.--their 4.7% Tortuga Pale Ale...

All three beers are also shown bookending an article on the 1973 caper film starring the recently-deceased Robert Redford, The Sting, for no particular reason. My lady Pamela quite enjoys it, although it's a film I haven't gotten around to seeing yet...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers for me to examine, from the following breweries:
--Sawdust City Brewing Company (Gravenhurst, Ontario; my fifth of their wares);
--Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg (Salzburg, Austria; my second); and
--Town Brewery (Whitby, Ontario; my fourth)...

Got a walk in with my pup Emma, despite getting rained on a little - had a great visit down at Mohican State Park, meeting up with my gf - for some archery shooting and picnic and hike....beautiful! Colors are just getting started..

A good deed in a weary world, dipa (citra dynaboost, nelson, rakau, galaxy, & dolcita), sand city. It’s meant to commemorate all their collabo beers over their 10 years in business. Nicely hop forward, and smooth, w/good citrus fruit notes: I mostly get honeydew melon. Nice stuff,
