    It's 16° and sunny today (61°F for the heathens out there who don't do metric lol), here in McGregor--another excellent autumnal day. Both cats Gracie and Sundae were raring to go, when I brought out the three beers worth investigating. First, my fifth beer from Gravenhurst, Ontario's Sawdust City Brewing Co.--their 6.5% collaboration with another fine brewery: Milton, Ontario's Third Moon Brewing Company, Bone Pine American-style IPA (this was stellar). The Bone Pine IPA is also shown, rather poorly poured, I must admit, bookending a fun book on film that I picked up in 2010 to add to my collection (I love watching movies and reading everything that I can about them lol): 500 Essential Cult Movies: The Ultimate Guide, by Jennifer Eiss (with JP Rutter and Steve White; Sterling Publishing, New York City, 2010). The front cover's ripped off a bit because I needed writing paper in a hurry, a few years back lol...

    Second, from Parry Sound, Ontario's Trestle Brewing--it's my third of theirs: the 4% Raspberry Sour (a 4/5, or 80%, in my neck of the woods, to be sure)...

    Finally, from Ayr, Ontario (home of my best girlfriends from my first year of living in Windsor, Jennifer, who pierced my left ear twice and was amazed, thirty years later, that it didn't get infected lol--Free Fallin' by Tom Petty was on the radio when she did it), it's another Collab (with Heart's Tavern, of Kimberley, Ontario), this time by Willibald Farm Brewery--their 6% Yonder Farmhouse Ale...

    All three beers are also shown bookending an article on Field of Dreams. Though I have had the DVD forever, and have intended to watch it, since I love baseball, like musicals, war movies and Westerns, I have to be in the right mood for a sports movie--they are so manipulative (though it could easily be said that any type of movie--even so-called documentaries--are so, since anything a director decides to shoot, or any way a film is even edited or soundtracked, is specifically to lead the watcher along the director's agenda... but I wildly digress! These are conversations for other days.). But I have accidentally watched the last 20 minutes...

    Tomorrow: Three more new beers for me to associate myself with, from the following breweries:
    --Sons of Kent Brewing Co. (Chatham, Ontario; my fourth of their handiworks);
    --Stieglbrauerei zu Salzburg (Salzburg, Austria; my second); and
    --United Craft (Toronto, Ontario; my third)...

    Have a great rest of your day, and cheers...from the few. The Proud. The Responsible Beer Drinking Club! (I adore innocently stealing advertising slogans from the past, specifically for the purpose of cheap humour lol) =)

    We’ve had to adopt Agile methodology at work and it’s making me crazy. So many freaking meetings. But I discovered beer helps.

These are conversations for other days: Two Kubrick movies on the cover…. There is a myriad of themes in those movies, alas for another day/
    and I love The G Lebowski.

    Toppling Goliath Mornin' Delight Imperial Stout, 12% ABV. Pours thick and black with a ring of bubbles. Aroma smacks you in the face with coffee, maple, chocolate, and vanilla. Taste follows, with coffee stealing the show as it warms, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Outstanding thick and creamy mouthfeel, leaving sticky lips. Overall world-class.

    Cheers squared! First impression, this beer is really good. Great hop flavors. I need to drink another one to sort out my review.
