Wolverine is great. Scratched an itch I didn't know I had for a black IPA. Was struggling trying to remember the last great one I had.

Milky Haze is such a step backwards for Haze. Not even in the same realm… maybe it needs some time, but it’s no where near the flavor profile I expected. Fresh Haze is one of their premier offerings, and has been since I started going

Mocha latte is good, but for me, the maple spice edges it out. Would gladly drink either any day of the week

I don't really keep up with Tree House's releases. I actually do not follow them on IG. What's the deal with the "Milky" series? Despite the stupid naming conventions and the fact that there is a thousand of them, is it really a sincere brand extension if you are changing the water profile, the yeast, the malt bill, changing up the hops? How much can you change with it remaining within that brand family?

Haunted House cold brew was fantastic. At the end of every sip you essentially taste cocoa powder/bakers chocolate on the back of your tongue. Just the right amount!

I was a little confused and annoyed at this. They announced the two Halloween themed cold brews on Friday morning, but neither were available for purchase. Even when I got there at 11:30 it still wasn’t on the online menu.

Drinking All that Glitters is Not Gold now. It’s pretty good and I could see a lot of people loving it. Definitely has a good galaxy presence. Tastes quite a bit like Very Green to me

If you’re talking Charlton. Yeah, this happens occasionally. I’ve also asked and they were like what? No it’s here and I was able to get something I didn’t see. Also sometimes the kiosk will have inventory updates online does’t. Always, and I mean always check inside at a kiosk if you ever see something sold out online in Tewksbury. Their inventory can be very different between outside to go and club house to go.

if it’s any other location then it’s always the one day delay from Charlton.

Sometimes other locations will get same day drops. But it’s not often.

I also remember a certain latte lite being promoted on IG. Didn’t make the drop one day at Charlton. No where the next day anywhere. Then the post vanished….

This was in Charlton which is why I was confused. I was sure the mothership would have all releases unless specified. It's ok, tho, got a good amount of coffee

How does Wolverine differ from Raven?

Well, okay - but I mean, in what sense is it a different beer to drink? There's a ton of variability within the black IPA style from sharply bitter and hoppy with just a little roastiness (like Stone's version) to almost stout-like with coffee and chocolate notes dominating the hops (as in Allagash's Haunted House).

I'm curious where Wolverine stands on that range, especially in comparison to Raven, which I like very much and seems to fall right down the middle. I'm hoping to hear that it's closer to the Stone side of things.

Sorry, no idea. I would imagine it's very similar to Raven given the TH track record. Raven was the only black IPA I ever tried and I wouldn't drink another one

Anyone have a 10/14 Julius? Tastes amazing, but also doesn’t quite taste like Julius. Huge under-ripe cantaloupe/melon vibes

Great description of 'Trick'. Definitely what I'm looking for in a IIPA:

(Double IPA, 8.3%, 16oz) To die, to grunt and sweat under a weary life; for who would fardels bear, to say we end the oppressor's wrong, there's the spurns that is the slings and the oppressor's wrong, the whips and enterprises of death, the rub; for who would bear the insolence of resolution is sick lied o'er with a bare bodkin? Who would bear, to grunt and moment with and the heart-ache and sweat under a weary life, but that makes calamity of something after death what dream: ay, the unworthy takes, when he himself might be? Nonesuch!

Packaging team must be loving this new can printer. The printed cans for the Evil series, Daze Against the Machine... pretty slick.
