When my wife and I were in Munchen for Oktoberfest about 15 years ago, I absconded with a huge 1 liter Paulaner beer mug somewhere along the line.
The wife was somewhat amused at the time, but when I got it home she quickly got tired of it taking up room in the bar cabinet.
So I donated it to my brother in law Ed’s Mancave for safekeeping.
He still has it.

 

It is! Got it last year at the I&G taproom in Edinburgh!

This 6 pack of Allagash was $15, which I can usually find a little cheaper, but went to the closest store. Rochefort runs about $6 to $8 per bottle for the 11.2 oz bottles (330ml?). So you are right in the ballpark. Our Georgia state alcohol tax is not as high as others. I have not seen the Trump tariffs kick into the pricing much yet, but I'm guessing it's coming.

@Shanex what are your favorites in the style?

 

I get a 6pk or 4pk for my buddy Zach whenever I see it because he doesn't beer shop as frequently as I do. He adores it as well @Roguer and places it above many other BA stouts. I see it in a lot of places here both BA and "regular". Good value for those.

I love St. Bernardus but they seem to be a little higher here for some reason. I really need to try the Tripel Karmeliet! Actually considered it today but it was not in the cooler and I was looking for something already chilled. A common problem with stores here is they don't keep some of the best beers in the coolers.

 

Just put dinner in the oven and enjoying a Be Hoppy ..
