We have a few more days on our river cruise, and then we’re spending a whole week in Prague … I expect to drink quite a lot of beer there

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Lil’ Smokin’ Toad from Hoppin’ Frog. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans picked up at the brewery, 16/10/25 - $23.38 (Including tax and tip)/$ 0.365/fl oz. Reviewed 29/10/25, review 3620.
Final impression and summation: 4.25 Uncredited art work. The smoke is more of a Spezial level rather than a Schlenkerla. Fruit Fly was intrigued but a bit hesitant before finally giving approval. I’m also liking this brew.

Hello, fellow BA'ers! Today, there continues to be beautiful autumn weather, out here in McGregor. I wanted to give a shout-out of thanks to all those who attended The Lumberjack for my lady Pamela's birthday, and made it a wonderful occasion for her (my phone has been having difficulties since Friday, and I was unable to take pictures--I ended up having my second brew from Thornbury, Ontario's Thornbury Craft Co....their 4.8% Dam Dark Lager, and I ended up saving Flying Monkeys' 7% Meltaway Mint Chocolate Stout for today...

Second, it's my fourth of Ottawa's Bicycle Craft Brewery--their 6.5% Happy Robot IPA. It's shown, poured, with articles on the cult classics El Mariachi (Robert Rodriguez, 1992); Foxy Brown (Jack Hill, 1974); and The Gauntlet (Clint Eastwood, 1977), for no discernible reason. I have all three, and have both seen and loved the latter two...



Finally for today, with Sundae, it's my tenth of Cambridge, Ontario's Farm League Brewing--their 4.8% Hauler Lime Lager...

The last two beers are also shown with articles on the cult classics Danger: Diabolik (Mario Bava, 1968); Darkman (Sam Raimi, 1990); and The Killer (John Woo, 1989), for no particular reason...although I've seen the last of the three--a truly remarkable crime drama...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers deserving of my thoughtful and moderately refined contemplation lol (please never take me seriously; I'm truly a surrealist at heart), from the following Ontarian breweries:
--Blood Brothers Brewing (Toronto; my eleventh of theirs);
--Godspeed Brewery (Toronto; my thirteenth); and
--Grain & Grit Beer Co. (Hamilton; my eighth)...
