t's rainy and cool today, out here in McGregor, and Sundae felt more like snuggling in the covers, rather than helping me check out the day's three new beers--but Gracie was more than willing to lend a paw to help out. We were quite happy about the Blue Jays winning last night--and two of the three beers come from Toronto breweries. (I should point out that since it was a light beer, I added a fourth to yesterday's regimen--my eighth beer from Hamilton, Ontario's Grain & Grit Beer Co.--their 4.5% Just Peachy Sour Ale...

First for today, it's my eleventh brew from Toronto's Blood Brothers Brewing--their 7% flagship IPA, Shumei. It's shown, poured, with articles on the cult classics Blade Runner (Sir Ridley Scott, 1982); and Brazil (Terry Gilliam, 1985)--both of which are excellent watches, and come in a complete myriad of available cuts...



Next, it's my thirteenth from Toronto's Godspeed Brewery--a collaboration of theirs, with Elektrárna (from Plzeň-město, Czech Republic)--their 5.2% Franz Czech Pale Lager...

Finally for today, from Vaughan, Ontario's Magnotta Brewery, it's my fourth of their wares--their 5% Traditional Ale...

All three brews are also pictured bookending articles on the cult classics Taxi (Gérard Pirès, 1998); Too Late the Hero (Robert Aldrich, 1970); and True Romance (Tony Scott, 1993), for purely abstract and surreal reasons...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers for me to contemplate while celebrating Halloween, from the following breweries:
--Bobcaygeon Brewing Company (Peterborough, Ontario; my eleventh of their handiworks);
--Great Lakes Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my fifteenth); and
--Halo Brewery (Toronto; my fourteenth)...
