Still zooming here with this brew from South Dakota that is damn delicious.

 

@The_Kriek_Freak was very correct, it drinks more like a hoppy Black IPA (right now) and packs a big bitter punch. Not everyone's gig but think this beer is great when it's fresh and great when it's aged thx to a solid malt backbone!

Saw a stack of Modelo Noche Especial in my local Binny's 'Christmas/seasonal' beer area.

Good evening, fellow beer folks. Starting tonight with a Brooklyn Brown. I haven't had one in decades! I drank a whole lot of them back around the turn of the century and when I saw it at Wegmans I couldn't resist. About to crack open my latest library book. On to a Sierra Celebration next.

BTW Hoegaarden glasses really are the best glasses. The hex shape fits in my hand like a nut fits in a wrench.

Northwestern hanging tough with USC...for now. Nice to have some legit football on Friday night.

Probably only one for the night is an Expedition Stout from Bells. This is a 2021 and it's just about perfect. Nice chocolate backbone and still a nice roast to it. Very tiny layer of head. So good.
