They look DELICIOUS

 

Picked up a can of IPA at Strahov Monastery Brewery today, and want to drink it while it’s fresh (the brown ales and whatnot can ride in my suitcase back to Seattle ). A perfectly decent IPA, which makes it the best IPA I’ve had in Czechia, Slovakia, Austria, or Germany.

Oh dang, Austria! In my last post when I said 4 countries, I meant 5. Whirlwind trips be crazy, yo.

New Beer Weekend #277

 

Enjoying an IPA from @muchloveforhops3 while watching some Big10 football. I had a chance to go to the game at Penn State today and sit in corporate box seats but opted out because I would have been going by myself (plus another 5-6 hours in the car). Today is beautiful football weather, now kicking myself in the butt for not taking the ticket.



(BTW, the Centennial hops steal the show in this beer, all citrus and juicy floral = !!)

No music, just football. !!

 

At Hold Out Brewing in Austin. Damn Fine coffee stout and Arnold Palmer for my wife and Thumb Puncher Pale Ale for me. Buster is waiting on the curly fries.

 

Long train ride, found this place with silly music puns for beer names. This is a ginger lemon grass sour. Lots of ginger and lemon grass, mild sourness. Very refreshing. Half liter £6.2

Lunch is in the books, 1 Lb dry brined ribeye with baked potato and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. This Sip of Sunshine paired better than bread and butter.......

 

Starting early with Mountain Ale by Shed Brewery and some college football. Cheers and Go Utes!
