Couldn't find the date they reupped Juice Machine, so opted instead for Project Find the Limit 10 as the heavy option in my order today which I figured would be hitting its stride at 3 weeks. Glad I did, I had precisely none of this series if I remember right and this is pretty impressive. Still mad at myself I never snagged any of the PFTL vanilla stouts, very fun concept.

How difficult is it to park by the Prudential Tree House? Could I theoretically go there before going back to the airport?

For a pour or take home?

Take home is free to go parking in the garage as they come over and deliver your beer to your car. Then you have a quick exit out. You can’t use this option to get a pour. If you needed to run upstairs for the bathroom or coffee at blue bottle or something they’re usually cool about leaving the car a few minutes if they aren’t slammed. But not to get a pour.

If you are going for a pour your can park in the same garage easily but it won’t be super cheap. It’s also a separate area from where you go for treehouse take out. Don’t follow those signs if you are parking for the Mall. You could find cheaper parking on the street around the area but you’re going to have to hunt. If you don’t know the area well you may end up on one ways and a little confused. I wouldn’t recommend this option if you aren’t familiar with driving in back bay.

Depending on timing driving into and out of Back Back to the airport could present traffic challenges as well. Above the normal pain in the ass, traffic

I should add, if you’re coming off the Mass Pike east into Boston, the Pru exit literally dumps you out at the entrance

Just curious, what do you have your eye on? What's going home with you?

I grabbed Doubleganger, King Julius, SSSSap, Black Stagg and the barrel blend of Space and Time from Charltan.

I did Julius and the Eggers IPA from Woodstock.

Then my flight was cancelled, so I stopped at Tewksbury for a pour of Treaty (because I was too late for cans).

I still have a bottle of Ven
I still have a bottle of Ventus which is probably vinegar at this point. Boston's beer scene was a beautiful thing for a while with Mystic, CBC and Pretty Things, and even Trillium in their heyday.

The final Ventus bottle release can't possibly be worse than when they released it. It was putrid. Vinegar would have been an improvement! I've seen reviews saying it rounded a corner and is actually pretty good now. That was a massive disappointment at the time though, given it was the final bottle from Mystic.

I assume 22 hops in one beer has to be the record for a commercially made beer. Let alone a brewery of their size

I think Shmaltz Jewbelation may have peaked at 18 malts, 18 hops, and 18% before they started cutting the number of malts and hops in half and making the ABV lower in subsequent years. Can't think of anything else off the top of my head that comes close.

Now I’m having flashbacks to an ill-conceived Jewbilation vertical.
