Shin Shin to-go package for Black Friday?

I've been told we can actually visit SP for a beer during Thanksgiving weekend. Am hopeful I get to try Shin Shin!

For the lazy but curious -- each package is $75:

Congo + La Ruche 10 Year (this sounds like the best one to me) EDIT: aaaand it sold out in 5 mins
Hawaii + Rosé du Blé B3
India + Bière Blanche B5
Indonesia + Bretta Sang B2

 

Same. My saisons are collecting dust, don’t need any more.

I really wanted Congo, but I completely spaced, worked out tho I don’t need anymore saisons haha (although Congo was paired with the one I’d be ok with lol, maybe that’s why it sold out so fast)

Crazy that these vanilla stouts are selling out, but the blend, with tarpey, and bbt packages are sitting. Maybe there’s less of the vanilla stouts?

 

I think you're right. If I can't tell the difference between each vanilla, I'll buy the one with the sour I'd most want.

Gotta a combo of: pricing, adjuncted vs. non-adjuncted, and availability. It doesn't seem like people are drawn in mass to the non-adjuncted stuff. The Blend package costs a lot more for the same amount of beer.

True. But the cost is so thoughtfully high, I just don’t see how it can be passed up!

 

Indonesia has fallen now. Only Inda / Biere Blanche remain.

 

Im hoping we have McCormick and Spice Islands vanilla stouts next year.

Chicago bars seems to be awash in kegs of non-fruited Side Project wilds & saisons. I'm here for it. (Guessing it's FOBAB related?)

 

I was in Chicago before DLD and there were SP saisons in every Binny’s I was at. Just stockpiles of them.

 

I was interested in getting the Indonesia. Bretta Sang sounds interesting with the oranges in it. Pretty good package

 

There are a fuckton at Handy Market in Burbank , CA and Valley Beverage in Sherman Oaks.

They're like the new BCBS but just green bottles

 

Is this real or just wishful thinking ?

 

There is mention of a "Holiday Pairing Pack" in the email from 11/13 for Black Friday weekend that includes Shin-Shin (in addition to Biere Blanche and Bretta Sang). That could be/likely a to-go option. Otherwise, Shin-Shin isn't listed on draft or to-go at either The Cellar or the brewery.

Also, new malty beer releases.

 

They brought bottles of shin shin to the Xul kill the lights festival in October. Makes me wonder how many bottles they have?
