    Lunch this afternoon out in the courtyard, with Equal Parts Cascade Classic Pale Ale. And left over beer brats, baguette, **** mustard, potato salad and smoked English Cheddar...kind of a mix of a bunch of things ha.

    I have had this one for a while. There is no dating info per se on the label, but Local Relic still makes beers, they just don't distribute to local retailers anymore. That said, it also has been ages since I have had any of their beers. This one doesn't disappoint. It is muted, low-key and, yet, nicely balanced and flavorful. It is (was) a small batch offering and bottle conditioned. Like a fine wine, I assume this one has mellowed and matured with age. As I still see a bottle or two around town, I may just score another one. A very pleasant beer.
