    Guilty pleasure... cafeteria-style cheeseburger.

Cooked in a skillet. Ground Chuck, salt, pepper, MSG, and White American.

Steamed in foil by its own heat for 10min. Yum.

I cracked this puppy open and realized that it's 8.2%. What a pleasant surprise!

It's a pretty solid Marzen I should have gotten more. This is my kind of beer!

Monsoon IPA and some clever courtroom antics at Burke-Gilman Brewing on a rainy Seattle day.

That’s just wild. You should be able to drink Oktoberfest beers by the liter!

It's 6.2%, my eyesight sucks, and the print was a bit wonky. I had to use my magna-phone to double check, as it didn't taste like 8.

Canned on 10/7/25, this Lolev NEIPA finally has its hop burn dying down to drinkable proportions. Probably could go another two weeks, crazy green this one

    1) Little Thistle Mist & Shadow (4.5%): A Czech Dark Lager from Minnesota with flavors of dark graine, earthy, and roast. Clean and dry.
    versus
    2) Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams (5.2%): A Czech Amber lager from North Dakota with flavors of dark malt, amber notes, toasted and roasted flavors.. (Correctly matched the two blind)

The time of year to settle into the dark lagers. Czech Dark Lager Battle. First is Little Thistle. Dark, roasty, and cocoa notes. .
Next is Drekker. A bit more amber and toasted notes. Not quite as roasted or bitter. It has a nice balance of toast and roast nicely balanced by the malt sweetness. Excellent. My first try at this and very impressive little lager from Drekker. These dark Czech lagers are some of my favorites.
Winner: Drekker Leisure Suits & Laser Beams
