    Alright, time for the second of three from the Thursday release. Pulling out the Billie Baroo to end my late evening.

    Not a big fan of malty beers, but this one has worked well in previous years. This is a bit strong and sweet, but still doing well. Need to let it warm a bit more for a true test.

    Hello and good night Jason. Thanks for the compliment yesterday about my attempted Christian Bales sketch…

    Currently drinking Gallia Blonde… the rooster on the label makes no doubt it’s from France.

    [IMG]

    Cheers.

    Could this become the BAs official theme song?

    Today, it's fairly cool and grey, but it's wonderful to be alive, and it's still a beautiful autumnal day, out here in McGregor. Gracie was too busy bathing to have anything but cursory glances toward my three new beers of the day, but Sundae was more than willing to help me explore them: First, it's my fifth of Cobden, Ontario's Whitewater Brewing Co.'s handiworks--their 6% High Tide NEIPA. It's shown, poured, bookending articles on the cult classics Friday (F. Gary Gray, 1995); Fright Night (Tom Holland, 1985); and Fritz the Cat (Ralph Bakshi, 1972), for purely surreal reasons. I haven't seen any of the three yet, but I would certainly like to...

    [IMG]

    Next, it's my fifth brew from Ayr, Ontario's Willibald Farm Brewery--their 5.8% collaboration with Denmark's Seagrove Public (for their Afterthought Coffee)--Foreign Exchange Milk Stout w/Coffee...

    Finally, my fifth beer from Guelph, Ontario's Wellington Brewery--their 5.2% Easy Ten Concord Grape Sour...

    All three beers are also shown bookending articles on the cult classics Fast Times at Ridgemont High (Amy Heckerling, 1982); The Fearless Vampire Killers (Roman Polanski, 1968); Ferris Bueller's Day Off (John Hughes, 1986); and Fletch (Michael Ritchie, 1985), for no particular reason, though I have, and have seen, all four films, and have enjoyed them immensely over the years...

    [IMG]

    Tomorrow: Three more new beers worthy of my intense consideration, from the following breweries:
    --Woodhouse Brewing (Toronto, Ontario; my fourth of their wares);
    --Anderson Craft Ales (London, Ontario; my eighth); and
    --Anheuser-Busch (St. Louis, Missouri; my fourth)...

    Have a great rest of your day, and cheers...from The Responsible Beer Drinking Club! =)

    A visit to my dental hygienist this morning for a cleaning. Not my favorite activity, so I'm going to reward myself by drinking this very nice beer from the Big Beers box.

    Neither it’s mine although my dentist is a genuine good guy on top of an excellent professional, I’m already three crowns in by 41 yo. Yay.
