What beer are you drinking now? #4779

G'day all! ? I'm not used to being the 2nd one to reply to this thread.

I'm sipping on an excellent Marzen style Oktoberfest from Sloop. Canned July 29th. Plenty of bread, caramel malt, some, to me, grassy hops.

Yay, it's back. Canned October 17th. I got 2 6packs to start.

Today is an absolutely beautiful day, out here in McGregor, and both cats Gracie and Sundae were very curious about my three new beers to investigate: First, it's my eighth brew from London, Ontario's Anderson Craft Ales--their 6.5% IPA. It's shown, poured, bookending articles on the cult classics Mystery Men (Kinka Usher, 1999); Night of the Comet (Thom Eberhardt, 1984); Nothing Lasts Forever (Tom Schiller, 1984); and Office Space (Mike Judge, 1999), for no apparent reason...



Next, it's my fourth of Toronto, Ontario's Woodhouse Brewing--their 5% Lager Beer. It's shown, poured, bookending the cult classics Pink Flamingos (John Waters, 1972); Polyester (Waters, 1981); and The Producers (Mel Brooks, 1967), for no particular reason, either...



Finally for today, it's my fourth from Calabogie, Ontario's Calabogie Brewing Company--their 5.5% Brown Cow Chocolate Milk Nitro Stout...

Tomorrow: Three more new beers to entice my palate, from the following breweries:
--Avling brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my seventh of their handiworks);
--Beyond the Pale Brewing Company (Ottawa, Ontario; my fifth); and
--Waterloo Brewing (Kitchener, Ontario; my fourth)...

Happy Wednesday and 16th BA anniversary to me! Hard to imagine I have been on here that long - it has been fun, and I have enjoyed interacting with many folks here!

I have some "bigger" beers lined up for later, but starting out with one of my all time favorite beers, from Wooly Pig here in Ohio - great beer and brewery! Cheers to many more years of beers!

 

Right along here ba. Likely my last old fezziwig of the year. Nice beer, but at two packs, I’ve had my fill. Grocery and beer run coming up. Out w/ the old and in w/ the new finds,

 

Carbonnade Flamande is the project of the day. A Unibroue Triple is the beverage of choice. A Flemish Red is in the wings (to go in the stew).
