Today, it's cool and grey, but still beautiful, out here in McGregor. Both cats Gracie and Sundae were curious about today's three new brews to be examined: First, it's my seventh beer from Toronto, Ontario's Avling Brewery--their 6% Juicy IPA. It's shown, poured, and bookending articles on the cult classics Sullivan's Travels (Preston Sturges, 1941); Together (Lukas Moodysson, 2000); The Toxic Avenger (Michael Herz & Lloyd Kaufman, 1984); and The Twelve Chairs (Mel Brooks, 1970), for no apparent reason...



Next, it's my fifth of Ottawa, Ontario's Beyond the Pale Brewing Company's handiworks--their 5.5% Flash Series: Marzen Oktoberfest Inspired Lager. It's shown, poured, and bookending articles on the cult classics Up! (Russ Meyer, 1976); Up in Smoke (Lou Adler, 1978); Welcome to the Dollhouse (Todd Solondz, 1995); and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Pedro Almodovar, 1988), with purely abstract rationale...



Finally for today, it's my twenty-second beer from nearby Windsor's Chapter Two Brewing Company--their 4.7% The Regiment Scottish Ale...

Tomorrow: Three more new beers to discover, from the following breweries:
--Bellwoods Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my eighteenth of their wares);
--Bobcaygeon Brewing Company (Peterborough, Ontario; my twelfth); and
--Stockyards Brewing (Kitchener, Ontario; my fourth)...

It has been a crazy day at work today. We downed a 12 pack variety pack of Summit Brewing beer. I also brought this in today to try.
