Longcross had Focal (and I think Heady) just this past Sunday. Blackmoor has had it recently as well. Not sure about Magouns. Those are the only one's I know of right now, but I haven't been really looking hard either.
I was at Ashland Alehouse in Ashland MA a few months back, had an Edward on draft and a can of Heady.
Saw some postings in a FB group about some drops in other areas. Checking in to see if there have been any sightings of cans in the last week?
Probably not the info you're looking for, but a couple local shops near me have 3-4 month old four packs of Focal Banger out of sight in the back coolers they're still trying to sell for $40 each.
Not sure where you are in MA but if you're closer to the 91 corridor, the last half dozen times I've been to Country Deli in Brattleboro, they've had a couple cases of each chilling in the farthest left deli case. My guess is you can also find it at the Brattleboro Food Co-op as well. I've even seen it once at the food coop just north of Northampton
They're generally swimming in it at the Co-op. I'm out in the Berkshires so I make a drive up to a little liquor store just over the line in Pownal every month or two for my fix. I'll happily pay the $2.00 premium to not have to drive to Stowe.
Austin Liquors, Worcester. Both locations. When that stuff arrived, I grabbed a four pack each of Heady and Focal and took them to the register. When the cashier said "$80.38 please," my jaw hit the floor. I expect to pay $18-20 for those beers when they make it here, but this was outrageous extortion. I asked to speak to the manager and explained that these beers are not nearly as rare as they used to be and that if he sold them to me at a fair price he'd earning my business, but he insisted other people would buy the beer at that price so that's what he would charge. Unfortunately, it looks like they did sell through the Heady, but most of the Focal is still sitting there. I'd like to avoid this store entirely because of this, but unfortunately the only other good store within an easy drive of where I live changed ownership recently and has really gone downhill.
I saw a single of Heady marked at $10 bucks at Austin a couple of years ago and have not really been back there. Not sure how convenient it is for you but Wachusett Wine & Spirits in West Boylston is a decent little store, They update their new beers on Untappd once a week, which is nice.
Beer store in Virginia got a shipment in this week. Kinda odd that it's still not available at any stores regularly up your way
A lot of bars will have it but the store drops have been more periodic. Keeps us interested, I guess.
No regularity AT ALL in next door NH. Shipping far and wide but not your neighboring state makes as much sense as "the aromatics are better if you drink from the can"
I decided to take matters into my own hands, & drove to Brattleboro. 5 Hours, round-trip, from Plymouth. If my girlfriend asks, I was at a doctor's appointment.
