Full review linked above, full New Beer Weekend #279 take linked here. Bottom line, the pour and feel was flat, the body gooey and thick and taste a cinnamon bomb lacking the complexity and enjoyment I got on the nose. Likely first drain pour of the remaining 5 oz in a very long time.

 

My son and I are trying Beer Tree Bree Company's Gatherings Harvest Amber Ale. Name does not indicate, but this is an IPA and a fairly good one too. Color of beer is not as dark as it appears in photo.

 

6th Lord. An IPA brewed by Basic City. Time to soak the clams for chow tonight.

Tilted Barn w/ Nectaron hops. Pretty interesting and good. The usual from TB.
I scored huge for a pre Thanksgiving week getting Swish, Focal and Heady plus some new ones. I will need it because me and the Mrs will be alone TG. Actually going out which I've never done. I'm either working or cooking at home. My favorite holiday won't be as usual.
