It would appear that you will have lots of Alchemy at Thanksgiving!

    Cheers!

To me, Celebration and Bigfoot both have a strong cranberry element, If I can track down some cranberry wine, I’ll try a side by side.

I also did some searches and couldn’t find any info.

The 8000 version was released in 4/24 I believe. I expected the 9000 to be released around the same time in 2025, but there was nothing and I don't recall reading anything about it on their website or Facebook page. I was surprised as well.

Going to relative's house, but bringing my own beer (duh).
Currently my fridge is stuffed with IPAs for me and Pilsners for my wife, but I want to get some Celebration to kick off Thursday (can't believe I haven't had it yet this year).
Also a good Porter and certainly a bitter coffee oriented Stout to finish the day. I'll decide on the brands for those when I see the store's lineup.

Thanksgiving is traditionally an Imperial/Barrel Aged Stout day for me. Usually 3 or 4 before the big meal, then to fight off the sleep maybe some bourbon and lighter beer in the mancave after cleanup. Yep, it's a big drinking day

    This year's lineup includes:

    2022 Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout
    2024 Stone Imperial Stout
    2024 Cafe Deth
    2025 CBS

Years ago I made sure to have a saison with the big meal, I went away from that the last few years and I might pick some up again this year. I also like to have a few different beers on hand, depending on the mood. This year I think I'll pick up a bomber of a Saison if I can find one, a few Celebrations and I also like to have a Porter or Stout to have after dinner to sip on before my brother in law brings out the Bourbons to really set the tone for the night, lol!

Son & DIL will be in from Littleton, CO. Will probably have at least a Southern Tier Pumpking while grill-smoking the turkey, then definitely Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier with the meal (would be a Unibroue Don De Dieu, but can’t find that anymore!). Saving my last two long-cellared Quaff Bros. Wee Honeys to share with my son over the pumpkin pie. Whichever evening we have our first wood fire in the fireplace, we’ll break open the Barleywine from the Big Beers Box.

I had 2021 SMS last year. It did not hold up well. Green peppers, not terrible but far from what was. Hope the 22 held up better.

For me it will be Celebration as that’s what I have and work everyday till the holiday so no option to grab anything more interesting.

    Enjoy

Westmalle Tripel (Red somewhere triples are supposed to be good Thanksgiving beers)

Off Menu (a saison from More Brewing that was brewed with whole cone Motueka; it has notes of basil and rosemary, so I think that would be great with Thanksgiving dinner)

I am heading from Chicago to Minneapolis to my in-laws’ and they want me to pick up some New Glarus. I won’t be bringing Spotted Cow; someone else has already volunteered that. I hope I can get some Moon Man. Oh and they have a new Framboise I would like to try.

My sister is hosting Thanksgiving this year and told me they will have Pacifico, and I should bring beer if I wanted something else. Needless to say, I will be brining beer. I usually go Belgian for Thanksgiving so I went shopping earlier today and picked up Dupont Avec les bons Voeux for before meal, 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze for meal, and Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van De Keizer (Imperial Dark) for dessert.

    Excellent choices!

As for your sister, I'm assuming Pacifico was on sale at the local Vons or Trader Joe's.

This will probably get some smirks from the crowd, but We`re hosting Thanksgiving at my house and this is going to be the guests choices. (to be honest, there`s only going to be 2-3 beer drinkers in the bunch. most are wine drinkers)

    Pabst Blue Ribbon Tall Boys

    Blatz

    Leinenkugels Dark Lager

Tall Boys and Blatz will go with the snacking during the Packers / Lions game!
    '
AND , the Pabst Blue Ribbon Tall Boys will be the new , limited edition, GODZILLA Tall Boys!

When everyone is saying Grace before the meal, and everyone states what they are thankful for, what better reply is there than....
I`m thankful for my Godzilla Tall Boy!
