Tree House (2025)

Hitting Saratoga tomorrow. What new releases are top of the pack? Obviously grabbing the trademarks, but I like to grab 2-3 four packs of newer/seasonal/one off beers. Thanks!

 

Did you pick up anything particularly good? I'm headed up to Charlton this weekend to grab my semi-annual case or so, and I'm trying to talk myself into just sticking to the mainstays this time but always tempted to grab something if there's buzz on here about a current batch of something else.

Also want to get more of the Latte's but the only one i see right now for sale is the Hearth Fire, anybody had that one?

 

Outside of the mainstays, I picked up Bison, Dear Cascade, and Peacharine Eureka. Had a can of Eureka last night - really solid.

 

I picked up the same three beers this week at Tewksbury, and had a Eureka last night and loved it. Kicking myself for not getting more.

 

Sabertooth may be one of the best beers I've had in a while from Tree House but the can poetry....WTF

Did I miss Super Sap this year? I saw regular Sap and Sssap on the Releases IG page but not the Super.

 

You did not. They did drop it a month or two ago if I remember right. I’m sure it’ll be back very soon

Pretty tame release day. Usually it's one of their biggest of the year. No BA stouts or barleywine

Bright w/Galaxy is back tho, which is a phenominal beer

 

My wife wants to go to Treehouse Tewksbury later on today. Are we insane? Is this day a notorious shit show?

 

So what was the mysterious blacked out picture they posted referring to?

 

Probably Fade to Black. Today's pic of the can has the same black satin cloth under the can. Odd because it's a DIPA

 

Posting this in here as well as the NE what are you… thread. Since this was a bit unexpected as far as the beee goes. We were still close today and lady made it non-negotiable we weren’t going to stop for the Dubai Latte. So I grabbed these as well.

This batch of Bright Galaxy tastes absolutely awesome if you love Galaxy.

But if you love OG Bright look, feel and style. This seems to be a big deviation to me. I don’t remeber a Bright this turbid and a med-full mouthfeel. Great beer, but you could tell me it’s some other Galaxy hazy.

 

Bright/Galaxy was always like this. I remember I got a weird couple cans that initially poured more clear, but at the second half of the pour, all the turbid cloudiness came out. I’ve gotten it on multiple occasions and it’s always been like a standard hazy. Not sure why it’s the only one like that

 

Bright Citra from 2017. Only remember the initial batches of OG bright being much different than a hazy NEIPA, albeit always a single hop and different yeast I think?

 

Ahhh got it. Might just be the hop proteins(or some shit) held in suspension with Galaxy. Just figured I’d mentioned it as I’ve enjoyed other Bright variants for the opposite. Not haze shaming by any means. But others I’ve grabbed I swear had a slightly lighter mouthfeel and a more translucent haze to them. The kind that is a little darker color with a slightly more clear appearance of its haze.

 

I’m looking to see if I ever took a picture of it out of curiosity. No luck

 

Maybe I’m a bit off. But this is a Bright Nelson from 2019 and it sort gets at what I was trying to say. Or take a peak at some of the brights on untapped. This bright was more of that translucent color. None of this matters too much, but I always associated the Bright part with it being a less dense, non oated, non turbid, expression of what Nate likes to brew.
