    Hell Is Chrome IPA from Irrelevant Beer in Vancouver, WA

    Decent grapefruit aroma. There is some malty sweetness to start but then it is both bitter and sharp. Flavors are in the grapefruit peel and pith area. I'm happy to try a new-to-me brewery but this is exactly what I don't want in an IPA. Overall this seems to combine the less pleasant aspects of hazies and west coasters— harshly acidic and overly bitter.
