Those Apple Ales were just right earlier. Very refreshing and dry. And here we go! A beer is needed while clearing out that old crusty music room. Running out of alternate space for stuff. Trying not to impact our "normal" day-to-day style. Slightly challenging. Beer is needed right now! Humble Forager Holidaze BA English Barleywine from the BA BIG BEER BOX. It is amazing and is a beautiful seasonal BW. Cheers!

Today, it's cool but otherwise very pleasant--and both Gracie and Sundae wanted to help me explore today's new beer experiences (it should be noted, that yesterday, I added a fourth beer to my usual regimen, in celebratory mood of the two-year anniversary of being with my lady Pamela: My third beer from Huntsville, Ontario's Canvas Brewing Company--their 7.5% Forest Runner Double IPA...

First for today, it's my ninth of Hamilton, Ontario's Grain & Grit Beer Co.'s wares--their 6% Good as Gold IPA...



Next, it's my second beer from Roeselare, Belgium's Brouwerij Rodenbach--their 6% Rodenbach Grand Cru Belgian Sour Ale...

Finally for today, with Sundae, it's my third beer from nearby Kingsville, Ontario's The Grove Brewing Company--their 4.7% Clubhouse Oatmeal Stout...

The three beers are also shown bookending articles on the must-see films Gandhi (Lord Richard Attenborough, 1982) and The Right Stuff (Philip Kaufman, 1983). I've had both films forever on DVD, but, so far, have only watched Gandhi, which I found was excellent...



Tomorrow: Three more new beer investigations, from the following breweries:
--Kensington Brewing Company (Toronto, Ontario; my second of their offerings);
--Kingsville Brewery (Kingsville, Ontario; my sixth); and
--Unibroue (Chambly, Quebec; my seventh)...
