Bottled 10/1/25. Poured at 53.1° Big fluffy tan head. Chocolate fudge, coffee, maple syrup with a little bourbon on the backend. My store only had a 4/pk left, otherwise, I would have bought more. Delicious!

Rainy day. I’m draining then scrubbing the cold plunge tub today, then errands all afternoon. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all!

Final can of Hammerheart Attebeint Hest Northern IPA. Not to be confused with the West-Central South Eastern IPAs that roam freely... Damn. Lots of sedi in this can. It settles. Cheers!!

 

A snow day just the 5 of us. Christmas movies and some adult substances. We will make some memories. I used to go sliding with them all the time on snow days. They didn’t ask and I like being in the warm house watching tv. Nice to look at for sure.

Dovetail's Wet Hopped Hopfenlager. As usual for a wet hopped beer, this is too intense for me, but a small pour is enjoyable.

We lucked out yesterday - no snow until everybody was home from the reception! Today's New (late) Breakfast Beer:



Nequient (Ghost Nequient) from Adroit Theory Brewing. Four-pack of 16 fl oz cans, ordered 04/10/25 from Adroit Theory on-line, $35.21 (including shipping)/$ 0.55/fl oz. Reviewed 02/12/25, review 3646.
Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container). Uncredited art work. The coconut comes through on both the nose and flavor, while the pistachio is sketchy in both aspects. The marshmallow contributes to the sweetness and palate. Overall, a decent RIS somewhat lacking the traditional flavors, but still quite nice.

Our expected 2-5 inches snow storm turned out to be less than an inch.
So, what else to do, but drink beer and play some guitar.
The family are all off of work due to closures for the "storm," so a few brews are definitely in order.

I'm finally almost able to taste beer again now that my cold is finally clearing up. Woohoo! Cheers!
