What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4792

I started my day with a visit to the dentist for a small cavity. I haven't had a cavity in several years and was a little anxious, but the procedure was a piece of cake. I'm home drinking a beer and reminded of the scene in 10, where Dudley Moore tried to drink coffee after getting several novocaine injections.

 

It snowed overnight, but it is still beautiful, albeit cool, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae were more than happy to investigate my new beers for the day: First, my sixth beer from nearby Kingsville, Ontario's Kingsville Brewery--their 6.5% India Pale Ale...



Next, my second brew from Toronto, Ontario's Kensington Brewing Company--their 5.8% It's a Stout...

Finally for today, my seventh of Chambly, Quebec's Unibroue's wares--their 9% 30th Anniversary Brew: La Fin du Monde...



The three beers are also shown bookending articles on the must-see films Speed (Jan de Bont, 1994) and True Lies (James Cameron, 1994). Both were two of the most entertaining films that I watched at the movie theatre, while I was finishing my thesis for my first degree...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers worthy of my infinite contemplation, from the following breweries:
--Left Field Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my seventh of their offerings);
--Manitoulin Brewing Company (Little Current, Ontario; my fifth); and
--High Park Brewery (Toronto, Ontario; my fourth)...

Thanks, Doc....there were literally dozens of them out this morning, and I forgot my bird seed in my car...they do not typically come to eat out of hand, like the chickadees - nuthatches - and titmice do....but they were hungry!
