    1) Toppling Goliath Citra Hop Drop (8.1% canned 10/29/2025): A NEIPA from Iowa with Citra, Simcoe, and Krush for flavors of orange, citrus flower, berries, stonefruit, and tropical grape.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Honeymoon Phase (8.0% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Mosaic and Krush for flavors of bright pink grapefruit, orange, pineapple, dank pine and stonefruit. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Toppling Goliath versus BlackStack Battle, both with the Krush hop. First is Toppling Goliath Citra Hop Drop, a collab with Boulevard. Nice Citra and Simcoe plus some Krush for tropical grape notes.
    Next is BlackStack with a fresh hop IPA. Again with some Krush for some stonefruit and berry flavors. A bit more dank pine and pineapple here and earthy notes. Like both of these, but side-by-side this Toppling Goliath Citra Hop Drop is superior.
    Winner: Toppling Goliath Citra Hop Drop

    Cool tune, definitely capturing that soul vibe!! I've been through the layoff thing a couple of times, the last time was 2008 when the markets crashed. It took two years to find another gig and it was a pretty stressful time. Good luck man, just be persistent in your job hunt and don't let it get you down if pickings look slim, eventually you will find something. I got hired at my present job in 2010 and have been there ever since..

    Saint Arnold Irish Hello in the glass.

    At least one more singer/songwriter depressing album tonight :slight_smile: Its also one of the most beautiful 30 minutes of music ever. Nick Drake's Pink Moon of course, its a particularly short album, but he famously said thats all he had in him...

    ...my initial impression of this beer a few days ago didn't wow me at all...this 'Fortress of Solitude' experience of the beer with the same canning date is much better (and also starting out with a much colder pouring temperature)...seems richer and fuller...too bad it's my second and last can...I have too much on my plate to properly reevaluate this beer, but it would definitely be much more favorable than my initial take on it...
