That's unreal. Seems like SN is distributed everywhere. I don't get it.? I get plenty of SN down here in FL but not Harvest. I feel lucky I was able to get it thru Halftime though. But I see you have Sip of Sunshine!

Perfect weather, 66 and clear here in LA. I could live with this year round. Being from Michigan I get that the snow sucks. But lack of seasons also sucks, so does 100 degrees straight for 2 months in the summer. Cheers! Nice looking patio area you have!

I live in Central MA and this beer (SN Pils) is relatively scarce around here. I only know of a few stores that have it - one local and the other two a bit of a ride. I really like that beer though - so crisp, clean and refreshing. To me, that's what a pilsner should taste like. Cheers!!! :beers::beers::beers:

Prairie King Nut BBA Imperial Stout, 13.6% ABV. Pours black with nut floaties, and no head. Aroma is nuts, strong chocolate, and vanilla. Taste is chocolate, slight bourbon, nuts, and vanilla, moderately sweet, slightly bitter, no bourbon burn. Thick and smooth mouthfeel leaving sticky lips, overall outstanding.

Not a fan of floaties, but I'll buy more of this.

OK, time for angry jazz...Yes there is such a thing  If you don't know that would be Cecil Taylor, and I totally get why people don't like him...I LOVE him. This is his Jazz Composer's Orchestra. Its also the shiniest album cover ever

Narwhal in the glass...and Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey. Both are excellent together.

Nice - supposed to get down to 7 degrees here tonight - right now it's 24 degrees. No need to cold plunge here, just step outside nude for a few minutes :stuck_out_tongue:

[IMG] The haze on these beers are insane. $18 what a great brewery for the hazy ones.

Just to show you really can find a few gems in the “Dollar Rack,” today’s chug is “Drive Thru Red” Dry-Hopped Red Ale by Josephsbrau Brewing Company, San Jose, California!

Beermeister32 spent a number of years in the San Jose area, and let me tell ya, NOTHING like this was being brewed there back in the day! This is a great beer, but it doesn’t easily fall within style guidelines. At 7.2% ABV it’s bigger than your typical Irish Red – and at a whopping 42 IBU, this is a beer that would put a lot of domestic IPAs to shame! It’d stick this in that hopped-up no-man’s land also occupied by other hoppy reds like BJ’s Jeremiah Red at 7.3% ABV / 25 IBU and Stone Arrogant Bastard at 7.2% ABV and a mind-boggling but unverified 100+ IBU !!!

This is really a well-crafted brew. Great head, great lacing, absolute crystal clarity, carbonation and all other love and kisses I can lay on it! Drive Thru Red is a winner no matter which way you slice it! Cheers!
