Good Day BAs! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for opening the bar! And @MadMadMike, congrats on five years of putting up with us!
Currently a wet, heavy snowfall occurring - weather guessers say 3-5 inches accumulation so I'll probably stay inside today and do some decluttering after the construction project.

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Pseudo Sue Mosaic Dry Hop from Toppling Goliath Brewing. 12 fl oz can, part of a mixed 12-pack, picked up at Franklin Beer, Franklin, PA, 10/11/25, $ 24.00 (including tax)/$0.167/fl oz. Reviewed 10/12/25, review 3654.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label art, same as the base beer. Another iteration of Pseudo Sue, but not as good.
Rating 3.59, rDev -18.6%

In general summation of the 12-pack, maybe it was good when it was fresher, but these iterations of Pseudo Sue just didn't hold up, possibly because they are eight months old or more likely because they just were never up to the Pseudo Sue standard. I'll work the balance of these into the rotation, but it's time to start emptying reefer #1 of higher octane brews.

Today, it's raining, but for the time being, it's still a decent-enough day, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae were more than happy to help me inspect today's new brews: First, my sixth beer from Guelph, Ontario's Wellington Brewery, with Sundae--their 8% Fruit Engine Double White IPA...

Next, with Gracie, it's my sixth beer from Cobden, Ontario's Whitewater Brewing Co.--their 4.5% Fish On Vanilla Porter...

Finally for today, again with Gracie, it's my thirteenth beer from nearby Windsor's very own Walkerville Brewery--their 3.9% Golden Hour Pale Ale...

--Town Brewery (Whitby, Ontario; my seventh); and
--Waterloo Brewing (Kitchener, Ontario; my fifth)...

Well it's 57 and overcast, a great breath of fresh cool air. Celebration for lunch prep.
@mickyge the Ocala Buc-EEs is supposed to open in 2028, lots of road work first.

 

Like the food here, draft lines sketch. By beer palate has changed, so doing a side by side of these two options to see which one is better, at least for today.

Pabst G. Heileman’s Old Style vs.
InBev Anheyser-Busch Budweiser



Appearance: Old Style Better Head, carb and base about the same.

Aroma: Old Style hoppy, malt, nice. Budweiser lighter, similar but more bland.

Taste / : Liking both, more so than the last view visits which prompted this side by side. I liked both back in the day, something seemed to change, but both are coming back to me.

Old Style more hoppy, mouthfeel yielding more carbonation. More hoppy, but getting some of the sweetness I disliked recently. Budweiser more sweet than thought in the past. Budweiser BB two and a half months fresher, and I believe they have a 150vs. 180 day window.

Overall: Old Style is the winner, perhaps 0.25 - 0.50 better across each mark. I will order another Old Style, and Old Style in the future.
