I am trying to enjoy a nip of brennivin, and it is always the same neighborhood cat that looks at me like he wanted to buy this house, but I outbid him, or something. -7 degrees or 75 degrees. Always the same glare

 

I have not.

I went to Third Eye for their Barrel Aged Double Astral release on Black Friday. I thought the coffee variant was mind blowing...one of the best BA coffee stouts I've ever tasted.

All good here, Dan. I knew I was all in at Fargo when we moved into our apartment in January and the temp (not wind chill) was -18 d F. But, the sun was out. And when I mean moved, I mean hauling the furniture etc out of the Uhaul into the apt by myself. 3 foot of snow on the ground.

 

They make some exceptional beers!

It’s actually not that bad since there’s no wind and it’s actually warmer now than it’s been most of the week. I’d smoke in the house, but my wife forbids it!

Got distracted going into the shower by a shiny object or something. Clipped two toes, grateful I didn't slice anything open or break them; but damn I bent the shit outta that right knee. 10 seconds of intense pain & then okay. We'll see what sleep does, that usually where it shows up, next day

Little House Brewing Co. RRARE CCCANDY New England Style DIPA, 8.0% ABV

 

Don't tempt me with a good time. I may try to get to 3 Sheeps some time in 2026. I've never been there.
Time for my next beer from my beer cellar in my bedroom. I didn't know I still had 2 of these from last year, and I have a 6 pack from this year sitting at work for me to share with @Alefflicted , I do know he has, or had, one from last year also in his collection.

I feel so bad for him and my friend Tim, because they will have to suffer at Schell's Brewery while I'm "next door" at the New Ulm Country Club for my annual family cemetery board meeting. It is like spring water torture in the Spring.

 

I'm not sure.

 

So sorry to hear the disheartening news about your mom, @Dkeage Praying for comfort for you and your family at this tough time and for the utmost of peacefulness as her estate is taken care of. Will raise my next glass in her honor

 

Bluejacket Brewery - Chasing Parties
7% ABV Hazy IPA with Nelson Sauvin & NZ Cascade Hops
It almost tasted like a Sour IPA to me, which I didn't really mind so much. I just wish that the hop character was more distinguishable, because it tasted pretty generic and I could not really tell that Nelson Sauvin and Cascade hops were used.
