Enjoying now the second half of #4803, and have to respond to 1218617[/URL]]@Blogjackets ‘ Tecmo Bowl / Tecmo Super Bowl discussion. We would play cards until the early hours, then Tecmo Bowl tournaments, and finish off sneaking onto Edgebrook Golf Course at sunrise to play as many holes as we could. The evolution over time.

I was solid at these games, but my youngest brother surpassed me during our best of three last Summer in Vegas. Still great times decades later. Will be back with a beer soon.

Football wasn’t the only sport we loved to play. Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola with the call.

Below is The Beatles Christmas recording on October 17 1963 and released on December 6 1963. This is the first Christmas recording from the Beatles. This featured several renditions of the traditional carol "Good King Wenceslas", and individual messages from the four, ending with a closing chorus of "Ricky the Red-Nosed Ringo".

My last beer from the summer sortie through the cheddar curtain is New Glarus Strawberry Rhubarb. New Glarus fruit beer treatments are legendary.

The wind has subsided somewhat in Casper. Aboot time.

I'm sipping on this tasty IPA from Original Pattern out of Oakland California. Canned November 7th and purchased from Good Times Oakland.
Very tasty with loads of piney notes, some citrus, tropical fruit is on the light side but does deliver some dankness.

Today's New Breakfast Beer:



Fundamental Observation from Bottle Logic Brewing. 16.9 oz bottle from HEB # 45, SAT, TX, 15/11/25. $34.74 (including tax) ($ 2.06/oz). Stored at room temperature in store and at 40 degrees after purchase. Reviewed 14/12/25, review 3657.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label art but standard label for this brewery. Easy drinking if somewhat sweet for the style. One of the rare vanilla beers in which I can actually smell and taste the vanilla. If bourbon tasted this good, I’d routinely drink it. But … generally speaking, I’m slightly disappointed that I didn’t enjoy this beer enough to justify the price point.

Annoying snow around here too - not a huge amount, but heavy and dense. Still snowing, but I went out and cleared off the driveway and put down some ice melt to hopefully prevent any additional snow from accumulating. Having a Blizzard of 78 now ...
