American IPA. Nice change up from their hazies.

 

About 8-10 inches of lake effect snow here overnight, so chilling with my gnome. I am now drinking Elise Navidad Christmas Ale by Schnitz Ale. Named for the brewer's daughter, this ale is a mix of spices like nutmeg and cinnamon with warming ABV of 8%. Cheers.

 

After two drain pours from the Costco German pack, Sam saves the day.

I picked up a 12 pack on sale at Kroger today. Might have to return for more!

 

Going with another von Trapp, yinz. This time, Trösten, their smoked dark lager.

Doppelbock Dunkel from Klosterbrauerei Andechs

Overall a superb Dopplebock. Complex and well balanced. Well worth a try.

 

I'm bored, having a Ski House. Still snowing lightly, but I've had no more accumulation so my driveway is still clear

 

Thanks, cleared it with the 30" Bully. I use "Roadrunner" ice melt and it did a great job at keeping any further accumulation at bay. I put it in a Scott's rotary spreader which does a great job of evenly dispersing it in a wide pattern. Cheers Mike!

Was really disappointed to hear about Miskatonic's closing. I always thought they made solid beer, especially when it came to their stouts. Yet another good brewery going down in the Chicagoland area unfortunately.
