Yes, seen around once or twice. Never have tried though, at least not yet.

Nice, love these types of changes, now to track a couple down!

 

Observations wandering around Bamberg says yes. Street drinkers often drink it as it is cheap. More favor Fässla because it is also cheap, sometimes is stronger, and is local.

Rotbier is lost on me. Schantzenbräu Rotbier is tolerable though. I do enjoy the Schlenkerla Weichsel Cherry Wood smoke Rotbier, as I like the smoke beers.

 

I'm liking all of these new style updates!

I've had a few Franconian Lagers before. Would these be considered the same style as Rotbier? Some examples that I recall are Forest & Main's Strange Rituals and Cinderlands Beer Co.'s Pittsburghenstrasse.

 

Tucher Beers are of very good quality and are reasonably priced for an import. The Dopple Bock and Festbier are well worth a look.

This is my only Rotbier so far, a filtered version would be interesting. Cheers.
