I think this is probably what's happening to me now. They aren't going to drive 4-5 hours for just my package. They're probably waiting for more stuff to load up and deliver. No change in the status yet and it's 10 days over the target pickup date. Not sure what will happen, but this is probably my last Tavour order. Just emailed the delivery company support. I've done it before and actually gotten good responsiveness
Tavour's delivery system is a joke. I live 17 miles from the largest military base in NY and they don't deliver to my area?? I'm not exactly in the boondocks.
Good luck. I only had to contact Tavour's support once & they were worse than useless. They'd just copy & paste the latest message I received & when I pressed I got the "we're looking into it' b.s. Once the box finally showed up they messaged me with some variant of "See! It arrived, nothing to worry about sir!" except, of course, for the two weeks it seemingly went missing. That was very close to my last Tavour order but I've stuck with it & not had delivery problems since.
It's likely because they can't find a last mile delivery service in your area. Obviously, they would like to be able to serve customers across the US, where local laws permit.
Quit using Tavour because I've purchased too many beers from them and have about 300 bottles in my cellar. Always had quick delivery from them. Normally they say 3 days shipping. One time I got it the next day. Prices aren't out of line except on some of the big beers which is normal anyhow. Of course, I only live 200 miles from their office/shipping center.
Agree, the prices actually aren't too far off from MSRP. No response from support yet, and no update on the package. I guess I can email Tavour support, but at this point it's out of their hands. I would imagine I'll get a refund if it never shows, but idk how long until they'll issue one.
They use two services to get it to me in NC with WeShipExpress delivering the last mile via UPS (from NYC area).
Ah, ok. If they wanna hire me to deliver, I'm available. I order from Half Time and have no problems.
Might have to do this if I ever want to again. Tavour just has some really good stuff at times. Still nothing and it’s been 10 days since any activity on the tracking. Starting to think I’m not going to get it
I used Tavour for BA stouts and for some heavy hitters. I’ve been using them for over five years now. Never had any shipping problems maybe a delay here or there but everything comes well packed.
Strongly agree on all aspects, I used to have the site down to a science right at 2 PM and 11 am the releases come out. Once in a while, they would have a surprise release. Cheers.
I was contacted earlier today that my fifth box is now on the move again after a ‘delay’. The ‘final mile’ shifted to UPS. I think Tavour is a great idea. I was sucked in by some truly outstanding offerings. My experience has been all over the place though. I’m willing to pay the premium for select beers, but the packaging and shipping aren’t consistent enough for it to be worth while for me. I wish them all the best.
Last time I used them was to amass a selection of BIG BEERS. The hyper-cringe/corny/exaggerated beer descriptions can go to hell tho..
Magically, I emailed Tavour instead of the delivery company and it’s now out for delivery for tomorrow. Feels like they were forced to send someone out 200 miles with one package. Hopefully they can find my house themselves this time. The saga continues, but drawing to an end
I’ve always had good experiences. Seven boxes to date and they ship out one day and are on my doorstep the very next day. They used to use UPS in my area. Today it was GLS, but still the same result!
I just received my 1st Tavour box. It was a great experience from ordering the beers to finally getting it today. Highly recommend.
