Super Sap landed yesterday. I bought a 12pk today. It's as good as it's ever been.

Cccreamsiclee, & it was a classic, school-boy error, as I foolishly attempted the triple stack. It tipped over, I screamed like a little girl, & that fucking cat scrammed.

Had a King Sap last night, recommended. Has a decent amount of that yeasty/bubble gum shit that used to be so forward in pretty much all of their ipas. I want more of it. The Green I had before didn't have much of it at all.

I know there's been a lot of Sap family love this season here. This 12 pack is avaible in Charlton today.

    3 Sap (American IPA, 7% ABV, 16oz)
3 Sapling (American Pale Ale, 5.2% ABV, 16oz)
2 King Sap (Double IPA, 7.8% ABV, 16oz)
2 Super Sap (American Double IPA, 7.9% ABV, 16oz)
2 Very SSSappyyy (American Double IPA, 8.4% ABV, 16oz)

I'd think that would do the trick.

we're doing well enough, because we have massively shifted volume into our distribution over the past two years - but here's a fun figure - we did more business in our Broadway taproom alone in 2018 than we're doing combined at Broadway and CX.

A large driver of that change interestingly is retail can sales to go - down hugely. One of our conclusions is that far fewer people pilgrimage, now.

Getting a bit of that from Galaxy forward beers lately. Such a fickle hop.

Glad to hear that y'all are doing well enough. As someone who used to make all of the pilgrimages, I'll say that I can't do that anymore. Well, I didn't even have to pilgrimage to Lamp since i lived around the corner for a while. Had one of your doubles recently though and while I don't drink as many doubles as I used to, this one was quite tasty.

Just glad to see Tree House isn't abandoning their barrel program. Things were looking pretty grim for a while.

Broadway was pretty busy on a Monday at noon when I went this fall on a day off. Granted it was a lot of people having food and coffee. It was also noon on a Monday haha. Once it got to be around 1ish people were getting beer.

After your recent posts about your revamped IPAs I made it a point to visit both locations. They were delicious.

All the best and good luck!

Interesting. Congress and DDH Congress I’ve had recently have been solid.

They seem to be focusing on extended aging (especially in the stouts). A lot of the offerings are advertising 2+ years in the barrel, so it makes sense the offerings would be spaced out until they catch up with supply in their expanded barrel house/cellar. I’m guessing in a year or two we’ll have a revolving door of barrel aged offerings

I really hope they're gonna do a "Truth Week" again this winter, only with affordable 12oz variants instead of $45 750s... but I'm not holding my breath.

I bought the $45 coconut last year with Em. Was it worth it, fuck yes!

Was the size and money a fucking stupid mess and decision. Absolutely it was.

Took us 3 days. And never truly finished it.

Small format is an immediate yes.

I don’t care what Nate or anyone says. No one has enough friends to enjoy a 750 of double coconut 14% imperial stout. Your average person (oh my god it’s so heavy and sweet, gonna get diabetes) which is actually insulting to my type one peers. But the reactions we got to people trying it were epic. It’s actually funny. People will try world class beer and immediately shit on it.

Those same people will try higher end wine, know absolutely nothing about it, and praise and suck its dick. Oh this is a “great vintage” But have no way of intelligently actually explaining it. Also watch the way they stick their tongue into the glass as they sip. The basic gulp. We realized it’s good people watching and 95% do it.

Man I got off topic. Not sorry at all.

    But, fuck that size lol

What’s your line on 12 oz affordability, because they would be $20 easy.
