I know. Was using Bduble's /10 joke to show my admiration of that bottle count. I can see how that would be misleading though.

i was never a big fan of that beer, but then this summer shared a bottle with a grumpy yet kind soul and flipped out over how much i enjoyed it. this time it was still tastier than when fresh, but wasn't as earth shattering to me as it was this past summer. i'd guess it'll be past peak before the end of this year...but all this from someone who was not a fan of the beer fresh, when lots of people sang its praise right out of the gate.

Barely Wine and DIPA Beer Academy at Trappeze Pub.

    Lineup:
Draft 2XIPA to show a typical dry American DIPA
Oskar Blues Deviant Dale's IPA to show an earthy IPA
Moylans Old Blarney to ease into American Barleywines
'98 Gale's Prize Old Ale to show some diversity
'07 J.W. Lees Harvest for a great English Barleywine
Green Flash Palate Wrecker to, well, wreck palates.

The corked '98 Gale's was super interesting to someone new to the whole cellaring thing, we had a two bottles floating around that both tasted great, but were super distinct. One had a strong raisin and plum flavor, the other was distinctly tart more like a gueze.
