It's been over 2 weeks now on my order, so I assume it's something having a big impact. I'm a little disappointed in the lack of communication but it's the holidays and it's definitely not something worth making a deal out of.

Amburana Noir - very delightful. As good or better than when it came out. Huge rich balanced flavor.

I'm drinking a '21 Love Me Tender. This is a decadent stout. It starts out like PB and Thursday but then there's a sweet, ripe Banana on the finish. It's got a little more body than regular Black Tuesday. Considering it's 4 years old, it's doing very well at this point. This is a special beer.

6 Geese from the 2024 box is excellent. I'm not sure I can pickup the gooseberry... but it's a damn good dark Belgian.

My notes from the OG 2013 release were that it was really sweet, but this 2024 batch is very middle of the road in that regard - balanced and consistent with other excellent releases in the series.

News today Jim Beam is cutting bourbon production next year by a lot. I hear many others are slowing down too...

I wonder if that will hurt the supply of barrels for breweries? Though I guess it might take 4+ years for effect to ripple through since the production change would be to fresh liquor going into barrels?

This month's cellar bottles show as available to fulfill for me now. Sounds like they fixed the equipment, or whatever it was.

I do suspect we'll feel the negative ramifications of these policies for year's.

Awesome news. I've got an order that's been held up that will hopefully ship soon.

Tonight I opened a non-BA 10 Lords from the original 2017 release. I loved this one fresh and it's still fantastic. Huge flavor. Not a whiff of oxidation or staleness.

I hope this one appears again. I wanted to grab one but it sold out quickly.

Not exactly the same, but in March they're doing it with Brazil Nuts and acai berries.

I saw that. Definitely not excited by the acai berries.
