How many are considering Dry January?

That's been my practice for the past several years, 4-5 days of the week with beer, 2-3 days off. I limit consumption to 1 or 2 beers on a given day.

 

That's called "Providence Sober".

Well, I don't know everyone does what's "best" for themselves...maybe just they "want" to do.

 

I meant that part loosely. I've been in a room one on one with,drug dealers,murders,rapists and a whole long list I dont want to even right out.
I learned what people think is..Best for themselves...is a disturbingly slippery slope.
So I just shut up and observe most of the time

 

My buddies and I will definitely be there one or both nights. Trying to time some bar visits with NFL games.

I know, that’s why I said we are timing our bar visits. Of course, it depends on the games and if they’re close (and how drunk we are haha). Bissell and Kings Head have been the two places I’ve watched the last two MLK playoff weekends. Best combo of beer and tvs.

An annual tradition for me …..reset the year, reset the diet and refine my workouts . More stretching, more water , more fruits & veggies….

I’m particular on my beers, taste and ritual. The ritual usually revolves around sporting events - soccer and football. I hear there may be some big soccer games in the Boston area in late June and if Germany wins group “E” they could be here with their Rheinheitsgebot loving fans…need to celebrate with some brau’s

The taste …I’ll buy what looks appealing to me. Usually Tree House and then Trillium….l appreciate the reviews of beers especially on the new beer weekends where I can find something good , new, different ….searching for that perfect, ultimate swig of freshly fermented hops….

Ah yes, the classic conundrum of the lesser of two Dry January’s…

 

I don't do Dry January. But I'm ready to get back to much drier weekdays.

 

Such will power -- didn't even last 24 hours.

The idea you assumed that is just as whacked -- you started the thread, I was actually expecting YOU to do better and be some inspiration.

And what was that about "brutal honesty?"

Guess I can throw that assumption in the same toilet with any respect I might have held.
